| Civil War Days at the Branch County 4-H Fairgrounds is a weekend of special events to honor our past fallen heroes of the Civil War era. Saturday evening features a Grand Military Ball and Barn Dance where reenactors and the public can enjoy period specific dancing with the Ruffwater Stringband. |

| The restoration of two Civil War era flags once used by the C.O. Loomis Post, No. 2 of the G.A.R. (Grand Army of the Republic). The flags and other Civil War artifacts have been housed in the Quincy Public Library since 1929. |
